Vital Energi is exploring the potential for a BESS on land south of Pitkerro Road, Dundee, DD4 8EP
The proposed development consists of the construction of a c. 49.9MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) involving proven lithium-ion battery technology which will provide grid balancing services. The system will be capable of charging / discharging electricity for a period of up to 4 hours via the National Grid network.
